He studied with Gabrielle Lavigne and Aline\nKutan at the Conservatoire de musique de Montr\u00e9al before joining the Atelier Lyrique at the\nOpera of Montreal for 2 seasons.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, he made his debut at Opera de Toulon (France) in the role of Mathieu (Andrea\nCh\u00e9nier). His performed repertoire includes Valentin (Faust), Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni),\nMorales (Carmen), Mercutio (Rom\u00e9o et Juliette), Nero (Nero and the fall of Lehman Brothers),\nLe Vice-Roi (La P\u00e9richole), Frank (Fledermaus), Ein deutsches Requiem (Brahms), Requiem\n(Faur\u00e9), Carmina Burana (Orff), Messiah (Handel), Matth\u00e4us-Passion, Johannes-Passion &amp; many\ncantatas (Bach), Winterreise (Schubert).<\/p>\n<p>His numerous collaborations with prestigious ensembles such as the Op\u00e9ra de Montr\u00e9al, the\nOrchestre Symphonique de Montr\u00e9al, the Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec, and Pacific Opera Victoria have\nallowed him to gain extensive stage experience over the years. Geoffroy Salvas has notably\nworked under the direction of Yannick N\u00e9zet-S\u00e9guin, Kent Nagano, Rafael Payare, Clelia Cafiero,\nM\u00e9lanie L\u00e9onard, Masaaki Suzuki, Paul McCreech, Jacques Lacombe, Jean-Marie Zeitouni, and\nNicolas Ellis.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights among his future and recent engagements include Marcello in La Boh\u00e8me at Opera\nGrand Avignon, Germont in La Traviata at the Seine Musicale in Paris, Masetto in Don Giovanni\nand Bobinet in La vie parisienne for Op\u00e9ra de Qu\u00e9bec, Morales in Carmen at Pacific Opera\nVictoria and Poulenc\u2019s Le bal masque with Camerata-RCO (members of the Amsterdam\u2019s Royal\nConcertgebouw Orchestra).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gagnant du Premier prix op\u00e9rette du Concours international de chant de Marseille 2017, finaliste du New England Metropolitan Opera National Council 2019, Geoffroy Salvas a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 avec Gabrielle Lavigne puis Aline Kutan au Conservatoire de musique de Montr\u00e9al.
